History of Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, Inc.
Every year, thousands of workers are disabled by on-the-job injuries in South Carolina. Tragically, approximately 100 workers in South Carolina lose their lives annually. It’s the families and, in particular, the children who are many times forgotten when these losses occur. Kids’ Chance of South Carolina, Inc. provides an opportunity for these children to pursue their education, reach their goals, and fulfill their dreams for the future.
Scholarships are supported by donations from individuals, groups, organizations, companies & foundations. Also, from special activities organized by volunteers such as our annual Kids’ Chance golf and fishing tournaments, BBQ, Silent Auction, and Fun Run/Walk events. All funds raised support the children of South Carolina workers.
Our scholarships are contingent on the availability of funds, so your help is needed to make this opportunity available to children who would not otherwise be able to attend college or technical school. You can honor a loved one on the occasion of his or her birth, marriage, birthday, or anniversary with your donation to Kids' Chance of South Carolina. In Memoriam donations may also be made.
